Frequently asked questions

Common questions.

Refunds are reviewed case-by-case. Email support@cardhouse.golf within 30 days of purchase with your pool name and the reason for the request. We aim to respond and resolve within 48 hours on business days. Note that pool deletion does not automatically trigger a refund, so request both in the same email if that's what you want.

Check your spam folder, especially on Outlook and corporate email accounts where filters can be aggressive. Magic links expire after 15 minutes; if too much time has passed since you requested one, request a new link. If a new link still doesn't arrive within five minutes, email us with the address you used and we'll check the delivery logs.

From your pool's manage view at /pool/<your-pool-name>/manage, use the team management section. You can share the join link to invite new participants, edit team names, or remove teams. Picks lock at the tournament's pick deadline; before then, participants can update their own picks via the recovery link in their confirmation email.

No. The Season Pass is a one-time purchase that covers all your pools for 365 days from the purchase date. We'll send you a reminder email before it expires so you can renew if you'd like.

Not yet. If you set up the wrong tournament, create a new pool with the correct one and share the new join link with your participants. The old pool can be deleted from your manage view.

Visit /picks/recover, enter the email address you used when you joined the pool, and we'll send you a fresh recovery link. The link works for 15 minutes after you click it.

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Cardhouse never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card information. You can manage your payment history directly through the receipts Stripe sends you.

Cardhouse supports four format presets: Tier Pick (Best of), Tier Pick (All Count), Open Pick, and Salary Cap (coming soon). Most pools fit one of these. If you have a format that doesn't, email us; we use commissioner feedback to prioritize new formats.

Cardhouse displays scores from ESPN's official tournament data. If a score looks wrong, the most common cause is that ESPN hasn't yet updated their feed. Paid pools refresh every 30 seconds during active play; free pools refresh once after each round completes. If a discrepancy persists more than 10 minutes after the round ends, email us with the pool name and the affected golfer.

From your pool's manage view at /pool/<your-pool-name>/manage, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom and use the type-to-confirm flow. The pool disappears from every leaderboard, dashboard, and join link. Recovery requires a manual database update, so please email us promptly if it was an accident. If your pool was upgraded to paid and you'd like a refund as well, see the refund question above.
